- The file [Prices] contains the current price of our other PipeLine,
- ZLine and ILine discs; the contents of other PipeLine discs are
- contained in the remaining files. If you would like a copy of the
- contents of ZLine and ILine discs discs then please send us an 800 Kb
- formatted disc, a self addressed label and return postage. We will
- send you the ZLine and ILine contents files by return post.

- %L%ZLine - The FireWorkz User Group
-
- Colton Software have encouraged us to support their new series of
- Fireworkz packages. Our first disc in the ZLine series, called ZL9303,
- was issued in March 1993; they are issued every three months.
-
- A compilation of some of the most popular articles from the ZLine discs
- appear on our Introducing ZLine disc (called ZIntro). You may consider
- buying this as an alternative to a full set of back numbers.
-
- We can send you a Fireworkz demo disc; the price is in the [Prices]
- file of this directory. If you buy the ZIntro disc (and do not have
- the Fireworkz package) then we can send you the Fireworkz demo disc
- free of charge. You do not need demo discs if you have the full
- Fireworkz package.

- %L%ILine - The Style and Publisher User Group
-
- Our newest User Group is ILine which supports users of Computer
- Concepts' Style and Publisher packages. The files on our ILine discs
- will not load into the older Impression Junior and Impression II
- packages because the file types used by Style and Publisher are not
- backwards compatible to those earlier packages.
-
- The first disc in the ILine series will be the January 1995 disc.
- Prices are the same as those of PipeLine and ZLine.
-
-
- %L%Contributions
-
- If you make a contribution to PipeLine, ZLine or ILine which is
- published, even if that contribution is a question (such as those in
- the Help directory), then you will receive a free copy of the disc on
- which your contribution appears, or, as is more usual, if you have paid
- for the disc in advance, we will refund the price of the disc.

- %L%PipeLine Back Numbers
-
- With a printed book or magazine it is sometimes difficult to get hold
- of back numbers. This often happens when all previously printed copies
- have been sold and when it is judged that there is not enough potential
- demand for an economically sized print run. The book or magazine is
- then said to be "Out of Print". With a magazine on a disc the question
- "If we run a reprint then will we get our money back?" does not arise.
-
- Because PipeLine is supplied on disc, back numbers are never "Out of
- Print"; you can buy individual back numbers. The first PipeLine 4 disc
- was the November 1991 disc (called 4PL9111); they are issued every
- three months. Instead of buying all the back numbers you might
- consider just the Introducing PipeLine 4 disc (called 4Intro) as a way
- of catching up on the best of earlier PipeLine applications.
-
-
- %L%Errata
-
- A slightly more tricky problem is that of errata. Generally all the
- issues of PipeLine have been remarkably free from errors but,
- inevitably, some have crept in here and there. I believe that any
- errors are so small that either you haven't noticed them or you've been
- able to guess what should have been written in the file. However, what
- I do is that, as soon as an error has been pointed out to me I have
- corrected the error on my master disc so that all further copies go out
- with the correction.
-
- If you have found an error of the 'errata' type then let me know what
- it is, return your copy of the PipeLine disc together with a stamp and
- a self addressed label and I will upgrade your copy. Although this way
- you have to find a slip (or at least suspect one) to qualify for an
- upgrade to a later version, I hope that you don't think this is too
- unfair but, from my point of view, it does keep the number of upgrades
- I have to supply within reasonable limits.
-
-
- Upgraded Back Numbers
-
- I keep the applications on 'Back Number' discs as up to date as
- possible so that they are of maximum use to new subscribers.
-
- Sometimes articles and applications on the PipeLine discs become
- outdated by events. For example, 'bugs' which exist in an early
- version of PipeDream are corrected by Colton Software and an upgrade
- becomes available from them. Work arounds for such 'bugs' are no
- longer required and if I continued to include them on later versions of
- the early PipeLine discs then their inclusion would confuse new
- subscribers. Generally I remove or modify such out of date material
- and change the version number of the PipeLine disc. The version number
- appears in the contents file.
